Voldemort Unleashed

Acme made it through Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Today's post is one of the assignments he chose to do for his book report. It's not a reinterpretation of the story, as I understand it, but rather inspired by the characters and atmosphere of the book, Voldemort in particular. Turns out Acme has already seen the movie. (I discover this after he reads the book, but trying to beat Hollywood to new books can be challenging ... I'll choose my battles). Without further ado ... Harry Potter by Acme. And digitally colored by Acme, too!

Fungus Among Us

Acme has done a number of fungi drawings, but this is probably one of the most densely populated patches to date. The actual size of this drawing is approximately 2" x 3".

Under the water, That's where it's hotter

Acme recently did a report on the pufferfish. This drawing may have been inspired by the various books on sea life that we gathered from the library and/or a few youtube videos we watched (ie. pufferfish bites scuba diver, otter's failed attack on puffer).
